Introduction

Welcome to Hair By Sigrid. By booking an appointment, purchasing a membership, or using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a smooth, respectful, and professional experience for all guests and our team.

Bookings & Appointments

  • All appointments can be made online, in-salon, or over the phone.
  • To confirm your booking, a 50% booking retainer may be required. This amount will be deducted from your total service cost on the day of your appointment.
  • Bookings are subject to stylist availability.
  • Appointment times are approximate — while we do our best to stay on schedule, hair services may occasionally take longer than anticipated.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

We understand life happens, but please respect our time and that of other guests.

  • Cancellations or reschedules require at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • Changes made within 48 hours may result in the booking retainer being forfeited.
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations may require full payment before future bookings are accepted.
  • Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in booking restrictions.

Late Arrivals

To ensure the best possible service, please arrive on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your service may need to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid impacting the next guest’s experience.

Service Satisfaction

At Hair By Sigrid, our goal is for every client to leave feeling confident and cared for.

  • If you have any concerns about your service, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment so we can review and address it.
  • Adjustments are offered at our discretion and typically within 14 days of your original appointment.
  • Refunds are not provided for change-of-mind or dissatisfaction arising from external factors (e.g., home care or colour fading due to incorrect product use).

Products & Retail Purchases

  • All retail purchases are final.
  • We comply with the Australian Consumer Law regarding faulty or defective products.
  • Please contact us within 7 days if you experience an issue with a retail item purchased in-salon.

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
  • They are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Vouchers must be presented at the time of redemption and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Memberships

Hair By Sigrid offers memberships designed to make great hair more accessible and affordable.

By purchasing a membership, you agree to the following terms:

  • Memberships are billed weekly as per your selection.
  • Credits are applied to your salon wallet and may be used for services and products.
  • Any unused balance rolls over while your membership remains active.
  • Memberships may be cancelled with 28 days’ written notice.
  • No refunds are issued for partially used billing cycles.
  • Membership perks (discounts, VIP access, birthday blow-dries, etc.) are valid only while the membership is active.

Health & Safety

  • Please inform your stylist of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that may affect your service.
  • For your safety, certain treatments may not be suitable for pregnant clients or those with specific health concerns.
  • Hair By Sigrid maintains strict hygiene standards, sanitation protocols, and professional-grade equipment to ensure a safe environment.

Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
  • Pricing may vary depending on stylist level, hair length, or additional product use.
  • Payment is due at the time of service.
  • We accept cash, EFTPOS, credit cards, and Afterpay (where available).

Promotions & Discounts

From time to time, Hair By Sigrid may offer special promotions or discounts.

  • Promotions cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
  • Each offer has its own eligibility criteria and validity period.
  • Discounts are not applicable to gift vouchers, memberships, or retail bundles unless noted.

Privacy & Personal Data

We respect your privacy.
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Information collected during your visit is used solely for booking, communication, and service purposes.

Behaviour & Respect

We strive to maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and professional space.
We reserve the right to refuse service or future bookings to any client displaying disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour toward staff or other guests.

Hair By Sigrid reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
